How to Play the Kids Bible Word Search
Look at the list of words next to the grid. Press the first letter of a word and drag to its last letter, or tap the first letter and slide your finger across. When you find a word, it turns green and a short clue about the Bible story appears. In this easy version every word goes across (left to right) or down (top to bottom), so there is no need to look for diagonals. Tap New Puzzle to play again with the words in new places.
The Words in This Puzzle
The 12 words come from stories children know well: Noah and the ark, Moses, David and Goliath, Jonah and the big fish, Daniel and the lions, the angel and the star at the first Christmas, and Jesus and Mary. Each word has a one-line clue. After a child finds a word, a parent or teacher can ask what happened in that story, or read it together from a children's Bible.
Ideas for Parents and Teachers
For younger children, read a clue aloud and let them point to the word. Older children can race a timer or take turns finding words. In Sunday school, show the puzzle on a screen and ask the class to call out each word they spot. If your group is ready for more, try the full Bible word search with diagonal words, the Bible trivia for kids or the kids matching game.
