How to Play the Books of the Bible Game
There are two ways to play. In Put in Order, a group of books appears mixed up. Tap them one by one in Bible order, starting with the first book of that group. A wrong tap counts as a mistake, and the timer keeps running, so try to finish fast with few mistakes. Start with a small group such as the Law (five books) and work up to the whole Old Testament or New Testament.
In What Comes Next?, you get ten questions that ask which book comes right before or right after another one. It is a quick way to check how well you know the line-up.

Tips to Memorize the Books of the Bible
Learn the books in groups, not as one long list. The Old Testament breaks into the Law, History, Poetry, Major Prophets and Minor Prophets, and the New Testament breaks into the Gospels and Acts, Paul's letters, the general letters and Revelation. Once you know the groups and how many books each one has, the whole order feels much easier.
Say each group out loud, then practice it with the game until you can finish without mistakes. Children often learn faster with a song or a chant, and adults do well with a short daily practice. When you know the order, test the details with a Bible quiz for each book, spell the names in Bible Hangman, or match books to their themes in Bible Memory Games.
Books of the Bible Game for Kids, Churches and Classrooms
Teachers can show the game on a screen and let children take turns tapping the next book, or divide the class into teams and race to finish a group first. Families can use it as a short warm-up before Bible reading. Because it needs no sign-up and works on phones, tablets and computers, it is easy to use in Sunday school, a youth group or at home.
