Christmas Bible Quiz

This Christmas Bible quiz follows the Nativity story as it is told in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. You will meet the angel Gabriel, Mary and Joseph, the shepherds in the fields, the Magi from the east and King Herod. Every question comes from the first two chapters of Matthew or Luke.

The order of questions and answers changes each time you play. Read the story first if you like, then see how much you remember. It works well as a family activity before Christmas, a Sunday school review or a youth group warm-up.

Matthew and Luke tell different parts of the story. Luke gives us Gabriel's visit to Mary, the census, the shepherds and Simeon. Matthew gives us Joseph's dream, the Magi, Herod and the flight to Egypt. If a question is about shepherds, think Luke. If it is about the star or the Magi, think Matthew.
