How many players, and how many category wedges does it take to win?

How to Play the Bible Trivia Board Game

This free Bible trivia board game is played on one screen with one to four players. Choose how many people are playing and whether you want a quick game (three wedges to win) or a full game (all six). On your turn, roll the dice and your token moves around the ring of 24 colored spaces. The color of the space you land on decides the question category: People, Places, Stories, Books, Jesus or Verses.

Answer correctly and you earn that category's wedge and roll again. Answer wrongly and the turn passes to the next player. The first player to collect the target number of different wedges wins the game.

The Six Question Categories

People covers Bible figures from Aaron to Paul. Places asks about towns, rivers and mountains such as Bethlehem, the Jordan and Mount Sinai. Stories covers events like the flood, the plagues and the feeding of the five thousand. Books asks about the order and authors of the books of the Bible. Jesus focuses on His life and teaching. Verses fills in missing words from well-known King James Version verses. There are ten questions in each category, and a question does not repeat until all ten have been used.

Tips for Winning

You can only count a wedge you do not yet own, so a correct answer in a category you already have still lets you roll again but does not move you closer to winning. Watch which wedges the other players need, and read each question slowly before choosing. In a group, let teams talk over each answer before the player taps it.

Playing as a Family or Class

Put the board on a TV or a projector and let each player or team use a numbered token. It works well for family game night, Sunday school review or a youth group warm-up. For a faster game with just questions, try Bible Trivia, or compete for points in Bible Jeopardy and Bible Millionaire.
