Bible Games About Jesus

Use these steps for a class, a family evening or a small group.

1. Read one short story about Jesus aloud, such as Zacchaeus or the storm on the lake. Use five minutes.
2. Play the matching group game for ten minutes, so everyone moves and listens.
3. Ask the three talk-about-it questions that come with the game. Let anyone pass.
4. Play the matching quiz on a phone or a screen for five minutes.
5. Finish with the memory verse from the game, said together.

The four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, tell the story of Jesus from different points of view. They describe his birth, his teaching, the miracles he did, his death and his resurrection. Reading them side by side gives a fuller picture.

The games on this page are not a replacement for the Gospels. They are a way to remember the stories and start a conversation about them. After a game, open the Bible and read the passage together.

For little ones, start with the group games, such as the Zacchaeus game or the sharing game. They use movement and simple words. For older children and teens, use the topic quizzes on the parables and the miracles. For adults, try the Gospel quizzes and talk about what each story says to us today.
